Silk Road Duty Free operates on a wide distribution channel consisting of aerial, land and sea border crossing locations, including:

  • 3 international airports: Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi;

  • 2 domestic airports: Mestia, Ambrolauri;

  • Sarpi, Vale, Red Bridge, Ninotsminda, Sadakhlo, Kazbegi, Red bridge, Astara, Balakan, Bilasuvar, Samur, Shirvanovka, Xanoba, Bagratashen customs;

  • Batumi Port, Poti Port, Anaklia Port (under construction).

Batumi Port

  • Batumi Port dry cargo turnover is approximately 1’500 MT/year, oil and oil products 6MT/year,  Containers TEU 120’000/year;

Poti Port

  • Poti provides a new incentives to investors wishing to take advantage of Georgia’s tax-free and bilateral free trade agreements.

Anaklia Port (under construction)

  • Set to open in late 2020, Anaklia Deep Sea port will be designed over the course of 9 phases, with an aggregate investment of $2.5 billion.

  • In 2019 served more than 600’000 passengers with 21% growth over 2018.

  • Border crossed by 2’549’805 people in 2019 with 9% growth over 2018.

Sadakhlo: Armenian-Georgian border

  • Border was crossed by 2’154’812 people in 2019 with 10% growth over 2018.

Kazbegi: Russian-Georgian border

  • Border was crossed by 2’656’147 people in 2019 with 11% growth over 2018.
